case sensitivity of option names

Hi,

in a recent discussion someone said that port names etc. are supposed
to be case insensitive and that case sensitivity is probably a bug.

I realized that option names are case sensitive. I just tried
installing "port install plplot +wxwidgets" and it didn't work - it
failed to recognize the option name that's being specified as
"wxWidgets".

Is this a bug or intended behaviour?
