Yes, but once the final 3.0.1 will be released, nobody will be able to upgrade, since 3.0.1-alpha-0 seems to be considered by Macports as newer than plain 3.0.1 (cf. my other message on the epoch tag).

That’s why I was planning to use the revision field to track the various development stages instead.
