Test and commit Jmol patch, ticket 37607

I recently prepared a patch to update jmol to its current upstream stable release, this is ticket http://trac.macports.org/ticket/37607

Given that the Jmol port has no maintainer, and that the newer version brings important features, could somebody test and commit this patch? I'm sure the macports-Jmol users out there would be grateful.
