svn repo KeepAlive Off?

I guess another option would be to patch our serf (http://code.google.com/p/serf/source/detail?r=1991) ... I haven't checked to see if this applies cleanly to serf 1.2.1 (or if it actually fixes the issue or not), though.

Thoughts?
