How is this file used? If this list is meant to be exhaustive, you're missing some versions (e.g. 4.0.x and 4.1.x on 10.6)

How is this value used? The version of xcodebuild of course varies by Xcode version; this appears to be Xcode 5.1.1's version of xcodebuild; I'm just curious why.
