We should not ship applications with the Sparkle framework. This
automatic update mechanism for the application interferes with updates
from MacPorts, as it changes files on disk without MacPorts noticing.

Examples for ports removing the Sparkle framework with patches would be
GitX or VLC, iTerm2 just deletes references from the Xcode project.
Another possibility is to disable automatic updates and hide menu
entries as in the transmission port.
