Hi Vincent,

I am myself waiting for a fix for this since a while.

Can you perhaps make your updated Portfile public, e.g. below [1] or [2].
I am willing to test (by building the port for a few hours) whether the upgrade works seamlessly on my end before rolling it out to everyone.
