MariaDB 10.0 and 10.1 alpha port naming

I have new mariadb100 and mariadb101-devel ports installed and with basic tests (connect to information_schema db).

I do not know that I am a fan of "drop the dot" version naming but consistency has it's place.

Does anyone want to share their opinion as to naming these ports mariadb100 and mariadb101-devel vs mariadb10.0 and mariadb10.1-devel?
