Snow Leopard buildslave complains about obsolete git-core

I opened a ticket
    https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44052

The change has apparently already been merged to the 2.3 branch:
    https://trac.macports.org/changeset/120931/branches/release_2_3

So the new question is: are there any plans to release 2.3.1 sometime soon?
