MacPorts port of LaTeXML

Hi all;
   A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away),
I released LaTeXML version 0.7.0.  And someone
by the handle of "adfernandes" created a MacPort port of it.

In the meantime, development has continued
quite actively, but enamored with svn, and then git,
I've neglected making "Official" releases.
I'm setting about changing that, as LaTeXML 0.8.0
is now released, and is available on CPAN.

I'm currently updating the installation information
on http://dlmf.nist.gov/LaTeXML/, and am
looking into rejuvinating the Mac port.

I have a draft of an updated Portfile,
but am not clear how to express the dependencies
on the Perl modules: DB_File, Pod::Parser and Test::More.
There don't seem to be separate p5-<module> ports
available.  Are these included in other ports,
or are they included in the Core perl modules?

And, assuming I get that sorted out,
how might I go about suggesting this
port for inclusion in the MacPorts repostitory?
It looks as though adfernandes is no longer
active.
