Agreed. It should error out.
For me (beta2) it doesn't error out when using -b with non default
prefix.

Looks good! I've added a page in the wiki to describe binary archives.
I think a link to it from the error message would be nice, don't you
think? http://trac.macports.org/wiki/BinaryArchives#blocks

Anybody please feel free to correct/enrich this page. I just tried to
gather the little knowledge I have about them...
