Making QtCurve build on Snow Leopard

Hi,

in order to make port QtCurve install on Snow Leopard it is necessary to let
the port choose a macports-gcc compiler, preferrably the one perhaps already
installed on the system.

Could someone point me to a port which achieves something similar, so that
I could re-use the relevant code?
