dev port or subport?

Re-reading it to refresh my memory, it seemed that is caused some problem with getting all the port's subports into the portindex.

IIRC, that was later corrected, but I'm not sure.


Using the "if" form has the advantage that you can then add an "else" clause. This is useful in some situations.
