And doesn't really "scale" well either.
How would you replace variants "[+]clang34 clang35 clang36 clang37"?
"port install foo +no_clang34 +clang36"?
Clemens, are you willing to create a ticket explaining what you wrote?
(I don't have enough insight into the internals yet.)
