Well it's an error in macports terms, but from the point of view of an
user who installed macports to install packages there's no real
difference, nor different Finder alerts when moving stuff in there,
the user is likely to be just asked for administrator credentials.

On my 10.10.5 system /Applications/MacPorts/ and /Library/Fonts/ are
both root:admin, actually it's easier to write in Fonts since it's 775
and my user is in admin group, while MacPorts is 755.
My point is that the same way as MacPorts claims applications_dir it
could claim fonts_dir or whatever_dir, there's no real difference
since it's an unilateral claim.
