Some good ideas there - sounds like we have the makings of an update
to that wiki page happening. This looks workable.
Might be nice someday to have this as a few simple commands, like
homebrew's "peg" and "unpeg" commands.
a command to list a port's history doing all that git stuff mentioned
in the background
a command to peg a port at a version in time (in the process creating
a local repo if needed, and enabling in your sources.conf).
a command to unpeg the port again
Well, the manual method works well enough for me, unless someone feels
really artistic.
