pstoedit, trace mode and TeX dependencies

The port pstoedit needs the files cm-super-ts1.enc and texfonts.map to
compile a TeX file during the build.
The ports providing them (respectively texlive-fonts-recommended and
texlive-plain-generic) are not declared as dependencies, so the port
fails to build in trace mode.
The port has bin-type dependencies on pdftex and latex2man to allow
MacTeX users to avoid installing MacPorts' texlive, so adding those
ports as build dependencies seems undesirable.
Is there a way to whitelist those files for trace mode without forcing
MacPorts to install the corresponding ports?
