protobuf-cpp and protobuf3-cpp are two different ports…
anyway, looks like you have got your registry into a screwy state in someway, to get
DEBUG: Registry error: protobuf3-cpp not registered as installed & active.
try installing protobuf3-cpp (i.e. with a 3…) and then see what happens.
