Help with +universal for gtk3[-devel]

Hi:

Could someone lend a hand with the universal option for gtk3 / gtk3-devel?  My system isn’t capable of building universal.  I’ve developed a patch that brings the gtk3 ports up to the current release which includes changing to a meson-based build:

The gtk3 ports have used muniversal in the past.  I’m not clear if that is still necessary or not.

Does anyone have a few spare cycles to help with this?

BTW, macsguy has been very quiet for the last few months.  I hope that everything is OK and that I’m not stepping on any toes.
