gcc compilers to be supported by Macports, especially on older MacOS systems

I think that is a good compromise. I too would prefer it on all 
versions. or somehow have a group or a tag. right now it is up to 10.6, 
but maybe sooner or later 10.7 and 10.8 fall into it, who knows.
