OK - so what goes wrong here, is that the developer has made some
un-published changes to the code-base.

In particular :

1)  https://github.com/derickr/vld/commit/d7abb0c
    PHP_CHECK_GCC_ARG is now AX_CHECK_COMPILE_FLAG

2)  https://github.com/derickr/vld/commit/df1c52c
    Add support for PHP 8.4 opcodes ZEND_JMP_FRAMELESS
    and ZEND_FRAMELESS_ICALL_[0-3]

3)  https://github.com/derickr/vld/commit/dc56f73
    PHP 8.4: Support for opcode-less exit

Presently, I can get the port to patch !!EXECPT!! for the second patch
in (3) / third in my patch-file, which fails w/:

patching file srm_oparray.c
patch: **** malformed patch at line 94:

Can somebody please tell me what goes wrong ?
