Heads-up: MacPorts Trac now behind Anubis AI crawler protection

[Clemens Lang]

Hi,

heads-up: due to continued hammering by AI crawler bots that ignore robots.txt and identify as “human” browsers despite not being that, MacPorts Trac is now behind an instance of Anubis [1]. Visitors will see a proof-of-work JavaScript prompt and an anime graphic until the challenge completes.

I hope this restores availability of MacPorts Trac to its previous levels.

Let me know if you see problems, but don’t expect quick fixes due to newborn private commitments.
Clemens
