 Thanks very much for this! GIMP 2.4.2 is up and running on my PPC/10.4.11.

 This is pretty much my first experience with MacPorts, so I needed a bit
 more info to get this working. For other newbies, it's also helpful to
 note that
 1. You have to remove the .txt extension from the Portfile to get it to
 work (By right clicking on the file>Get Info> name & extension> then
 remove the .txt extension.)
 2. From the pages for the individual patches, you have to go to the bottom
 and select "download in other formats: Original format". (Just right
 clicking on the links and selecting "Save linked file" only gets you
 html).
