 Hmm.. It looks like even nsis v2.33 compiles but does not work. I tried
 manually compiling v2.33 into /opt/nsis and get this:

 {{{
 $ /opt/nsis/bin/makensis
 Error initalizing CEXEBuild: unable to read icon from file
 }}}

 I get this error even when compiling nsis svn trunk. So, nsis is broken at
 the source, I'll go there for more enquiries.
