 Boy do I feel stupid now. Well, maybe we can leverage that bug I submitted
 to the gimp maintainers to get tighter integration of the two...I have
 dock icons for gimp-2.4 and gimp.app (oddly enough, when I launch gimp
 from the command line, it is identified as gimp in the menu, but when I
 use gimp.app, the menu identifies it as gimp-2.4)
