         The simple hint is:  don't use /usr/local as a prefix.  As Ryan
 said, its not recommended.  Some ports explicitly disable looking in
 /usr/local for libs, etc. so as to not auto-include non-MacPorts-
 controlled bits, and wireshark is one of these, that may be the problem
 you're running into.
