 At least as an optional variant, the rsync port should download and patch
 in crtimes.diff and fileflags.diff from the rsync patches tarball.
 crtimes.diff "adds a --crtimes (-N) option that will preserve create times
 on OS X" and fileflags.diff "provides --fileflags, which preserves the
 st_flags stat() field."  These patches add support specific to properly
 syncing OS X files.
