Comment (by rhwood at macports.org):

 Can you try the following on a periodic basis:

 sudo port -f uninstall inactive
 sudo port clean --all all

 This will free up space on your hard drive

 sudo rm -r /opt/local/var/macports/receipts/libtasn1
 sudo rm -r /opt/local/var/macports/receipts/gnutls

 should then clean up those ports
