 I attempted to udpate to git-core 1.5.4.5_0 and the port will not
 activate.  The error is...

 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: /opt/local/bin
 /git-filter-branch already exists and does not belong to a registered
 port.  Unable to activate port git-core.
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
