 Please find attached a patch file to enable the build of xvid with the
 universal variant. You need to build it in two steps as the configuration
 on Intel takes SSE optimalisation itno account which prevents the ppc
 build. When split into two steps it builds correctly when the configure
 setting CC="gcc -arch <architecture>" is set.
