Comment (by cabanela at mnstate.edu):
I did a
{{{
sudo port -d sync
}}}
to update the port. Then I did
{{{
sudo port -v upgrade texinfo
}}}
which returned
{{{
---> Configuring texinfo
sh: line 0: cd:
/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_textproc_texinfo/work/texinfo-4.12:
No such file or directory
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell
command " cd
"/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_textproc_texinfo/work/texinfo-4.12"
&& ./configure --prefix=/opt/local " returned error 1
Command output: sh: line 0: cd:
/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_textproc_texinfo/work/texinfo-4.12:
No such file or directory
Warning: the following items did not execute (for texinfo):
org.macports.destroot org.macports.configure org.macports.build
Error: Unable to upgrade port: 1
}}}
Just in case, I did
{{{
sudo port install lzmautils
}}}
and then
{{{
sudo port upgrade texinfo
}}}
That did it, it compiled. So that is it. I should note the there was no
obvious information message in texinfo, at least to me.
