 Looks like files in
 /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/lib/python2.5
 are failing to be activated because that is a symlink (not a directory, as
 the error message says). They should be installed into
 /opt/local/lib/python2.5 instead (where the link points).
