 I just downloaded and installed sleuthkit 2.52 from sleuthkit.org.  It
 built, on my Macbook Pro, OS 10.5.4, "out of the box" with no changes and
 no problems at all.
 So I would think that it is probably very easy to update this port to the
 current version.
