 Mac OS X Leopard.  I installed X11 from the developer's disk that came
 with the computer.  I tried two mice: the Apple one-button mouse and a
 Logitech two-button mouse (both Bluetooth); neither of them could allow me
 to bring up the menu.

 Note that xv does display an image if you give it an image file on the
 command-line; it's just that I can't get to the menu, and on xv the menu
 is all-important.
