 That workaround (run it twice) worked for me too.

 There seems to be a missing hyphen in there; it should be
 "-I/opt/local/include/", not just "I/opt/local/include".  Come to think of
 it, the output looks like it's missing an actual command, too, like, say,
 gcc.

 Maybe that helps someone who knows Makefiles better..
