Comment:

 Great to hear the beamer stuff is working.  I don't have time to search
 for the ticket, but I think the activate problem is a known issue.  For
 ports with upper case characters (LyX) if you uninstall a port and the
 case does not match at the command line, the uninstall is incomplete.
 Weird, but true.  I saw that too and uninstalled using the proper case
 letters and it uninstalled properly.  Or you can force it too.  Since the
 problem is in mp base, I'll close the ticket.
