Comment:

 Okay, it isn't the Tcl env bug, just happened to look like it.  This
 should work as of r43651, so at least 30 minutes after I write this, run
 {{{
 sudo port clean --work kermit
 sudo port sync
 }}}
 then the install should work fine.
