 This used to break because of the:

 --with-freetype-includes=${prefix}/include

 The headers for the freetype port are in ${prefix}/include/freetype2.

 This should be setup correctly with --with-fontconfig-config=${prefix}/bin
 /freetype-config ... what is the output of:

 /opt/local/bin/freetype-config --cflags
