New description:

 I'm trying to install the new gnucash-2.2.8 with quartz, without x11.
 After getting around the lzma error (see #17829, I hope creating a
 symbolic link was the right thing to do), I tried to install again.

 {{{
 sudo port install gnucash +without_hbci
 --->  Extracting gnucash
 --->  Applying patches to gnucash
 Error: Target org.macports.patch returned: couldn't change working
 directory to
 "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_gnome_gnucash/work/gnucash-2.2.8":
 no such file or directory
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
 }}}

 I manually created gnucash-2.2.8 in "work" and installed again:

 {{{
 sudo port install gnucash +without_hbci
 --->  Applying patches to gnucash
 Error: Target org.macports.patch returned: shell command " cd
 "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_gnome_gnucash/work/gnucash-2.2.8"
 && patch -p0 <
 '/opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/gnome/gnucash/files
 /patch-lib_libc_libc-missing-noop.c.diff'" returned error 1
 Command output: can't find file to patch at input line 3
 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
 The text leading up to this was:
 --------------------------
 |--- lib/libc/libc-missing-noop.c.orig  2008-05-20 07:08:48.000000000
 +0200
 |+++ lib/libc/libc-missing-noop.c       2008-05-20 07:09:12.000000000
 +0200
 --------------------------
 File to patch:
 Skip this patch? [y]

 1 out of 1 hunk ignored

 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
