 A quick Google search tells me that -fno-common is needed to remove common
 symbols. It seems that -fno-common is used when building scipy. It is
 libf95 that needs this option. In the Portfile for g95 I have just
 committed, that option is explicitly specified when building libf95.

 Adam, could you test scipy with g95-0.90 Revision 4?
