 Yes, I realized that right after opening this ticket. Since the two
 implementations are compatible (from the mktemp website) :

 > A different, but compatible, implementation of mktemp is available as
 part of GNU coreutils.

 it might not be necessary to add this port, however having a different
 implementation might be important for some people, and having a separate
 mktemp is quicker to deploy.

 Is there also a simple solution to indicate incompatibilities between
 ports ? I have not found any indication of one in the macports guide, in
 which case adding this port would probably be a bad idea.
