 Okay, it now works, at least for me. The only actual correction to be done
 is the new path-Makefile.diff.  Files Portfile and configure.sh should be
 ignored.

 The new correction assumes that DESTDIR is non nil iff we are in destroot
 stage. I do not know if this unwise or not.
