 Huh. Unfortunately, I don't have your environment (neither ppc nor 10.4)
 so I can't try and replicate it. I think the easiest thing for you to do
 right now would be to uninstall sshfs, libfuse, and fusefs, then install
 from the main MacFUSE Core distribution. Although it may be worth
 uninstalling fusefs, then installing it again with the -d switch to output
 debug information, and attaching the transcript to this ticket so I can
 look through and see if I spot anything that's weird.

 Also, what happens if you try and run
 /System/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/load_fusefs ?
