 fyi, after doing a port clean boost, and a port -d install boost, it got
 past the above point.  Conjecture to me is that one of the install steps
 is doing a patch, and is written wrong and assumes something already
 there?  Whatever the case, looks like it is going to work now, but that
 something is not quite right in the port.
