 MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variables were added in r33373. This
 should not have been necessary anymore, however, since MacPorts 1.6
 automatically sets these variables. In particuler, r33373 seems incorrect
 because it will result in MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET being set to 10.4 on
 10.4, and 10.3 on all other versions of Mac OS X (including 10.5).

 I recommend removing the setting of MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET from the
 portfile. If that's not possible, please explain why not. (MacPorts base
 should already be doing this automatically.)
