Comment:

 Thanks for the contribution! I committed it in r33612 with these changes:

  * added "`dist_subdir ${name}/${version}`" since the distfile name
 doesn't contain the version
  * changed `master_sites` to simply "`${homepage}`"
  * removed "`revision 1`" since a given version of a port should start at
 revision 0
  * removed your "`configure.pre_args-append`" because a) it's weird to
 append to `configure.pre_args`; why not just set `configure.args`? b) the
 "`--infodir`" part wasn't used because the port doesn't seem to install
 any info pages; and c) as you already found out, the "`--mandir`" part
 seems to have no effect and you had to use "`MAN_DIR`" in your
 `destroot.destdir` section.
