 The following error is reported attempting to install 'ghostview' on Mac
 OS 10.5.1:

 Macintosh:~ alanfry$ sudo port -v install ghostview
 Password:
 --->  Activating ghostview 1.5_0
 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error:
 /usr/X11/lib/X11/app-defaults already exists and does not belong to a
 registered port.  Unable to activate port ghostview.
 Warning: the following items did not execute (for ghostview):
 org.macports.activate
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

 I would be grateful to anyone who could suggest what to do next
