 I am not really sure where to ask about this so please redirect me to a
 better spot if this is completely wrong...

 I would like to have a locate.updatedb script that subscribes to FS events
 (maybe triggered by launchd?) and updates the locate DB dynamically when
 files are moved, renamed or deleted, hence the locate DB would always be
 up to date.
