Comment:

 I don't have a PowerPC Leopard machine, but I do have a Power Mac G4 and a
 MacBook Pro, both with Mac OS X 10.4.11 and Xcode 2.5. I can reproduce
 your issue on the Power Mac but not on the MacBook Pro. But the problem
 occurs whether or not glib2 is installed with the universal variant, so
 there must be a different reason. How did you determine glib2 +universal
 was the cause?
