 Currently perl5.8 installs `bin/perl` and `bin/perl5.8.8`, perl5.10
 installs `bin/perl5.10.0`. I would appreciated if there were a binary to
 call perl5.8 or perl5.10 without using the whole version.

 Here are patches for perl5.8 and perl5.10 to achieve this.
